Acupuncture
Acupuncture is defined as the insertion of needles into specific points on the body to produce a healing response. This technique has been used in veterinary practices for thousands of years in China.
Acupuncture
Today, when combined with Western veterinary medicine, acupuncture can help treat a variety of conditions, including, but not limited to, orthopedic pain, neurological problems, nerve pain, and wound healing. Acupuncture can stimulate nerves, increase blood circulation, relieve muscle spasms, and release endorphins, the body’s natural pain relievers.
Dr. Katie Morrow and Dr. Brittany Routledge are certified in Veterinary acupuncture and can perform acupuncture (traditional and laser) as a complementary therapy to traditional medical treatment.
